Old trick from an Army Engineer
Diggin a DEEP hole in soft sand- with a skid steer. Years ago an old army engineer showed my dad and I how they were taught to dig deep holes with a tracked machine like a skid steer or front loader. I use what he showed me to harvest & load 27 tons of beach sand.
