4 Summer Accessories Every Woman Must Have

Lately, I’ve been once again reminded of the POWER of a great accessory collection. It’s the easiest way to fancy up an otherwise basic wardrobe. If budget doesn’t allow for a brand new outfit, grab a new pair of earrings and a hat, and you can totally transform your look in a jiffy.

Summer is a great time to refresh your accessory options!

You can’t layer a variety of clothing because it can get hot, but you CAN switch it up with a few new accessories!

MY favorite place to buy accessories is, hands down, Walmart. They have the BEST selection at fantastic price points and the style is ON POINT. Plus, they now have FREE 2 day shipping on most orders! This is such a game changer because I don’t even have to leave my house to snag a new pair of sunnies or a great bag! I just sit at home, and click!

Also, Walmart is teaming up with some FANTASTIC brands ( as well as some of their own amazing lines) that you’ll recognize and making high style fashion even more obtainable for many of us! Take for example this gorgeous dress from Lucky Brand. I also found this very similar style. Does it not embody everything good about summer? The slight ruffle sleeve, complimenting patterns, and breezy design in fun summer colors makes it a summer staple.

Let’s take a peek at a few accessories that took this outfit to a whole new level.

1. A good pair of strappy sandals

You can never go wrong with strappy sandals! Shoes are my favorite purchase because you really don’t often outgrow them! You can wear them pregnant, post pregnancy, at age 20 or age 50! These particular sandals I loved because they have a dressier feel to them. Pair them with a sundress, as shown, or with a pair of skinny jeans and a blouse. You instantly take things up a notch just by slipping them on! Now I just need a good pedicure to match!

2. A hat.

I have to be honest, sometimes I hesitate to wear a hat. It’s just not something I naturally gravitate towards; however, I need to more often. Hats add a touch of glam you really can’t get anywhere else. They’re an inexpensive way to make any outfit a little more on trend. I love these floppy sun hats because they not only provides a high style look, but they also help protect from the sun! This hat came in a pack of 3 colors and I’ve been wearing all 3!

3. Sunglasses

This is probably my favorite summer accessory there is. Anything that enables me NOT to have to wear makeup? DONE! Seriously though, sunglasses are a fun accessory to collect because you can wear them with ANYTHING! I loved this set from Walmart because I got more than one style together! I know some people like to spend a lot on sunglasses, but for me, I like to find the look for less because inevitably, I lose my sunglasses or a kid sits on them. Not only are these super stylish, but affordable! It comes with a classic metal aviator and a round style as well. Great quality and great style all in one!

4. A Straw or woven bag

We are seeing these EVERYWHERE this summer and it’s easy to see why. The straw/woven feel just screams Summer! The neutral tones make it a shoo-in for just about any outfit! Dress up or down, you shouldn’t go anywhere without a bag like this. This specific one appears to have sold out, but there are a ton very similar HERE.
