Creating Back to School Excitement No Matter What!

Let’s just call out the elephant in the room.

Many of us have NO idea what this school year will bring. Some of us already know it will be a new adventure!
Here at our house, we have 5 out of 6 kids in school – PreK to 6th grade. I’ve tried to keep my confused/stressed feelings masked with positivity and happiness for the sake of my kids. I personally, think it’s super important to set the tone for an AWESOME school year, no matter what! I know they’re going to pick up on my attitude.

We have lots of back to school traditions, and one thing my kids (girls in particular) LOVE, is picking some new back to school clothes. I remember doing this with my mom and grandma as a kid, and it’s fun to now do it with my kiddos. There’s just something that gives you a dash of confidence when your rock that new outfit and backpack into school. Even if you’re schooling at home, you can ALWAYS dress for success (and comfort!).
My sister in law and I were sitting around last night and we started randomly talking about how much we LOVE to shop Walmart for our kids! They have the BEST styles and at price points, you just can’t beat.
I love shopping in stores, but right now, I’m shopping online more! Walmart.com has 2 day shipping on many items AND shipping free for purchases $35+. I’d say that’s a win win!
I wanted to show you some of the items we have coming our way, so you can see what a fantastic selection you can find there!

Wonder Nation Shirts – You can’t beat under $10 for TWO tees. These are soft and wash really well. We own a few different ones in this brand and I’ve been happy with the quality!
Metallic Star Back Pack – I think this back pack just screams happiness. Glitter. Stars. Bright colors. Everything a girl wants at a fantastic price point!
Jeggings for Girls: Both my 4 year old AND my 9 year old twins own these jeggings. I absolutely LOVE the fit, and the wash. They are stretchy for comfort, but hold their shape for longevity!
No Tie Athletic Sneakers – These are the best shoes for a little man on the run. They’re so easy to slip on and off and the price can’t be beat either!
Leggings – These are obviously a STAPLE to any girl’s wardrobes. I love the basic colors that you can rotate through their wardrobe, but the prints are a nice POP too!
Boy Jogger Pants – My first grader LOVES these pants. He says he can “do Ninja moves” in them, and if you didn’t know, ninja moves are super important with you’re 6! These are honestly SO cute on, and easy to dress up or down! They come in a wide range of sizes for your big or little guy!
Athleisure Girls set: Listen Mom, you aren’t the ONLY one that likes to rock your work out gear all day! These are the most darling sets that keep your gal (size 4-18) comfy ALL day in the classroom, or on the computer at home!
Graphic Ringer Tees– I absolutely adore the vintage vibe of these ringer tees! Aren’t the unicorns cute!? They carry other styles too, and at this price point, you’ll need them ALL!
Tie Camp Shirts – Really the only question I had about this darling top was “Does it come in my size?”. It DOES come in several prints and a chambray! So preppy and cute!
Basic Hoodie (in some great colors) – One thing that is surprisingly difficult is finding plain HOODIES in great colors like this olive! I find so many boys clothes have graphics and pictures on it. My son likes this, but his mama likes him to have some basics too. This hoodie comes in a wide range of gorgeous colors that will carry him into Fall.

Happy Back to School!
Even if this year looks a little different, it’s going to be a wonderful year of learning and growth….and really cool clothes!
