Metalpless VS Arctic! Head to head snowplowing SHOWDOWN 4 k video
We decided to have a head to head heavy equipment snowplow contest when Hunter from Maxx Excavating made a bold claim- He said he could out plow 2 loaders with his Metalpless plow, so instead we put him head to head against one of our Arctics to see who would win. Heres is the tale of the tape. The metapless is on a 2019 cat 257D with 74 hp. The arctic is on a 2019 ASV 75 rt with 74 hp. Both run the same track system. Both blades have a max opening of 13 feet and sectional cutting edges. BUT the metapless has mobil wings that rotate in and out. The arctic has floating side moldboards that go up and down only. The Metalpless costs around $18,000 and the arctic $9,000. Both pieces of equipment have similiar lots and will be pushing into one central stockpile. It's a battle of time and quality of finished results..
