They say shoes are a girl’s best friend. Or is that diamonds? In my word, shoes ARE! Think about it. You wear them EVERY day, and they’re the one accessory that completely TRANSFORM an outfit. Even a plain tshirt and jeans can instantly reach EPIC status, with a good pair of shoes.

One of my favorite places to purchase affordable shoes is Walmart! They have totally stepped up the style game, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve loaded my cart with a new “I have to have these…” pair.

The magical shoes THIS month were these stacked heel snakeskin boots.
If you pay attention to fashion trends at all, you know animal prints are IN for Fall. (Check out this leopard dress we featured a few weeks ago).
I’ve been seeing snake skin EVERYWHERE, and was so happy to find these boots at an amazing price point.
Sometimes, animal print can be intimidating – especially if you’re a rather conservative dresser. I wanted to show you two possible ways to style them that are NOT intimidating.

First up, pair with a BRIGHT Fall colored shirt.

This peasant style top caught my eye because of the fit. I love a top that doesn’t fit snug to my body, but still has shape. This top is just that! It’s even loose enough you could fit a little baby belly in there if you’re pregnant! Note the pretty ruffle neck detail that’s flattering on just about everyone. I love how the peplum adds a flirty element, even from the back!
