While anytime is a great time to visit the Happiest Place on Earth, there is more magic than ever before debuting at the Disneyland Resort in 2018. With the premier of Pixar Pier, exclusive celebrations and holiday festivities, you won’t want to miss out on any of the fun. Because our friends at Get Away Today always offer the best deals and flexible payment options, now is the best time to plan your Disneyland vacation for next year. In fact, you can lock-in your 2018 vacation at their 2017 prices for just $125 down. Final payment isn’t due until two weeks before you go. If you’re not sure when to go, here’s an outline that can help you plan dates:

January 1-7: Holidays at the Disneyland Resort— If you travel at the very beginning of the year, you’ll catch the very last few days of the holiday celebrations for 2017. In addition to that, California Screamin’, Ariel’s Grotto, the Cove Bar and the Boardwalk Games at Disney California Adventure are all closing permanently on January 8, 2018. It’s your last chance to catch these popular attractions before they close to make way for Pixar Pier.

January 26 – February 18: Lunar New Year Celebration – Welcome in the New Year by celebrating with your favorite Disney pals at this grand celebration. You’ll enjoy food, music and entertainment inspired by Chinese culture and traditions. You can also catch the nighttime water spectacular, Hurry Home. This six minute show lets you follow the journey of the little lantern in a heartwarming tale that features some of your favorite Disney characters, such as Mulan, Mushu and more.

March 2 – April 12: Food & Wine Festival – If you’re a foodie like me, make sure you plan your visit to the Disneyland Resort for the Food & Wine Festival. Not only will you be able to indulge yourself in delicious sweet and savory treats, but you can experience daily educational beverage and culinary demonstrations too. This has promised to be the biggest year for the festival yet.

April 13: Pixar Fest Begins – Pixar Fest is a celebration of your favorite Disney·Pixar tales that will debut all-new entertainment, décor, food and souvenirs. During the festivities, be sure to watch “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular.” This all-new firework show will premier in Disneyland and will showcase cherished Pixar characters, adored music and an overall theme of friendship. You’ll also be able to see an updated version of the Pixar Play Parade with all new floats for the first time in Disneyland Park. Plus – catch the return of the highly anticipated, Paint The Night Parade, but this time in Disney California Adventure Park. This event is sure to be an incredible one, so don’t miss your chance to go. There’s no end date announced, but we anticipate it will continue through the summer until Halloween Time.

Summer: Pixar Pier Opens – The moment we’ve all been waiting for, Disney’s Pixar Pier and Paradise Park will make their entrance in the Summer of 2018. This re-themed land will showcase the Incredicoaster, formerly known as California Screamin’. Pixar Pier will also feature a brand-new Toy Story area and introduce four-new neighborhoods that embody some of your favorite Disney·Pixar stories. Mickey’s Fun Wheel will also be receiving a makeover and will feature different Pixar characters on each of the twenty-four gondolas. In addition to this, experience all new activities at the Games of the Boardwalk, shopping, dining and so much more.

Mid-September – October: Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort – The most boo-tiful time of year will be making its return to the Disneyland Resort. Halloween Time is filled with spooky décor, delectable treats and even appearances from some of the infamous Disney villains. If you want to make your time at the Disneyland Resort even more spook-tacular, consider getting a ticket to Mickey’s Halloween Party for select nights. This exclusive event will provide you with exclusive entertainment, trick-or-treat stations and character meet-and-greets that will be sure to fill your visit with even more frightful fun.

Mid-November – Early January: Holidays at the Disneyland Resort – The Merriest Place on Earth will take over the Disneyland Resort during the latter part of the year. At the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, you can experience more magic than ever before. Experience festive ride-overlays, themed treats and jolly entertainment around every corner. With holiday celebrations in both Disneyland and California Adventure, you’re sure to find joy around every corner.
