Emily Blunt & John Krasinski Selling Brooklyn Townhouse They Remodeled

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are one of my favorite celebrity couples (they just seem like they’d be fun to hang with!), so my ears perked up when I heard they’re selling the four-story townhouse they bought in Brooklyn last year. They spent more time updating and redecorating it than actually living in it.

Krasinski told the Wall Street Journal they’re traveling so much that they decided to let the Park Slope gem go: “The house is so special, someone who can spend every night there should have it.”

The house has 5,200 square feet on four levels.

The listing says:

Keeping true to its original build of 1909, this French Renaissance Revival townhouse greets you with an airy glass entry, surrounded by artisan quality crown moldings and millwork. To the left, through the first set of pocket doors is the front parlor, replete with bay windows, pier mirror, detailed inlaid borders and a second set of pocket doors that lead to the middle parlor with leaded stained glass windows and built-in bookshelves that wrap around the wood burning fireplace.

It looks less formal with the open shelves, which now go up to the windows.

It’s almost unrecognizable as the same space. (I hope they kept that original light fixture someplace!)

The architect they worked with was Michael Ingui of Baxt Ingui.
