This is the day so many of you count down to, and word on the street is, this will be the best one YET.

Amazon Prime Day, if you are unfamiliar with it, is a day where Amazon marks down HUNDREDS of products to rock bottom prices. There are amazing discounts on their top products (think Echo, Kindle, Fire Sticks and more), but also some of the things you’ve been waiting for! I got my instant pot on this day, stocked up on essentials, and got my kids’ birthdays covered for the next YEAR. It really saved me SO much money last year, and I’m ready to go back at it again. This year is exciting because its going to last longer!!! 30 hours in fact. Drink up on the caffeine you die-hards!

BestBlackFriday.com analyzed last year’s Prime Day prices and found that 77% were lower than on the Black Friday shopping holiday in the fall, with 13% of the prices equal on both days.

I wanted to give you a few VERY simple tips to shopping Prime Day so you’re prepared.

1. Be sure you’re an Amazon Prime Member.

I won’t lie to you, some of them will be SUPER appealing (like that Instant Pot I purchased on this day in a previous year), but some aren’t as great.
